For all group bookings, pre-payments are required and therefore you can arrive later without any hazzle. Please note that we will ask you for your approximate time of arrival in order to arrange everything for a smooth check-in. Reception is available 24/7.

Yes. Reception is 24/7 open in all hotels.

In normal times, we do offer shuttle services at our airport hotels in Berlin and Frankfurt. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the service is not avaliable at the moment. In case your group would like to use the shuttle service, it might be necessary to split the group depending on the group size. Please contact us for more information on transportation or further options.

Yes, in most of our hotels you can rent bikes for a small fee. Please note that the number of bikes is limited and might not be sufficient for your group. We will gladly check the availabilities and options for you, just reach out to the group sales team at groups@meininger-hotels.com.

In some hotels you can check in before 3 PM. If you cannot check in earlier, you can always leave your luggage at the hotel before check-in starts.

Smoking is not permitted inside the entire hotel. Designated smoking areas can be found in front of the building.

No, the use of electronic cigarettes inside the hotel is prohibited. Most of our hotels have a designated smoking area outside the building where e-cigarettes can be used.

Pets are welcome at MEININGER hotels. The cost per animal and day is €15 (Geneva/Zurich: CHF 20, Copenhagen: DKK 150). No animals are permitted in dormitories and communal areas. Dogs must be kept on a leash outside the room.

Yes, you can if the tour leader has provided us with the rooming list in advance. After we have received the list, everyone can check in separately. Please let us know in advance if this is the case for your group so, we can prepare accordingly.

Yes, most hotels provide laundry facilities where you can wash, dry and iron. Using the washing machine and the dryer is subject to a small fee. Detergent is available.

Yes, wifi is free in all hotels.

Yes, all hotels except MEININGER Hotel Berlin Mitte Humboldthaus, MEININGER Hotel Frankfurt/Main Airport and MEININGER Roma Termini have a shared kitchen where you can cook and store your food and drinks. In accordance with local food hygiene regulations, the kitchen at MEININGER Roma Termini can only be used for warming precooked food and storage. MEININGER Hotel Berlin Mitte Humboldthaus does not offer a shared kitchen. Please notice: The kitchens are too small to be used by groups, an entire group cannot use them at the same time.

Yes, you can bring your own food and drinks (non-alcoholic). If you like, you can store your items in the refrigerator of the shared kitchen.

Because of the limited number of parking available at some hotels, parking spaces cannot be pre-booked and are subject to availability upon arrival. Please check for parking availabilities at check-in. Parking costs vary per hotel.

If no parking is available at the hotel, please contact our group sales team at groups@meininger-hotels.com. They will be able to find the closest parking opportunity for you. Our local colleagues at reception will also be happy to assist upon arrival.

Please inform us at groups@meininger-hotels.com two weeks before your arrival about any allergies or intolerance. We can cater for gluten and lactose intolerance, nut allergies, vegetarians and serve pork-free meals.

Our bathrooms are equipped with showers, there are no bathtubs.

There are no fridges in the rooms. But you can always store food and drinks in the refrigerator of the shared kitchen. In case medical supplies need to be stored privately, we are happy to help. Please get in contact with our team in order to get this organized for a safe stay.

You can book a baby cot free of charge emailing the group sales team at groups@meininger-hotels.com. Availability is limited.

In our hotels, you will find local TV channels and cable TV.

Our rooms do have a TV in the room. We do have some exceptions though: the Urban House Copenhagen by MEININGER does not have TVs on the rooms and the good-value basic dormitories in the MEININGER Hotel London Hyde Park are also not equipped with a TV.

Most rooms are equipped with an air ventilation system, options vary per hotel and can be a fan or a full air conditioning unit. To find out which system is used in the hotel you are traveling to, please reach out to the team at groups@meininger-hotels.com.

Most rooms are equipped with a hair dryer. You can use it for free. If your room has no hair dryer, please check at reception if you can borrow one. Usually you can borrow hair dryers for a small deposit.

There is no telephone in the room.

Rooms do not come with a minibar. If you would like to get a refreshment, you can always order something at our bar. Also, we have a shared kitchen available which you can use 24/7. It has a refrigerator in which you can store food and drinks.

There are no interconnecting rooms in the MEININGER hotels.

Yes. Towels are provided in all rooms at no extra cost.

Some multi-bedded rooms provide safety deposit boxes. Feel free to ask for a padlock at reception. We also have safety deposit boxes available at reception.

A hotel room should be clean and tidy when you check-in as a guest. Therefore, our rooms are professionally cleaned and disinfected before your arrival.

All MEININGER hotels have joined our initiative "Mindful by nature" to reduce the environmental impact of your stay. As part of this initiative, rooms of group bookings are being cleaned after every second night.
